Legend is a 1984 video game adaptation of the novel of the same name by David Gemmell.
It was published by Century Software for the ZX Spectrum console as "Bookware", an early genre of video games based on books where the book itself was included in the distribution. The game was programmed by Andrew J. Glaister with writing and game design from John Lambshead and Gordon Paterson.
It is in essence a text-based fantasy adventure, with some very limited graphic elements during battles.
